Vehicle test benches

Apicom offers chassis dyno for the full range of cars and motorcycles, speeds from 0 to 350 km/h, basic inertia ranging from 150 kg to 1.500 kg or more with electronic inertia simulation.  The chassis dynos are provided with one or two rollers per vehicle wheel, suitable for testing 2WD and 4WD vehicles.

The rollers can be produced with different surface roughness in order to reproduce diverse road conditions. The rollers diameters are selected according to the final application:

small rollers (lower than 400 mm), standard rollers for motorcycle testing (600 mm); 1.200 mm diameter rollers (48”), used in the car industry; 2.000 mm diameter or larger rollers which allow accurate testing with improved roller/road contact simulation, useful in applications which require a high level of accuracy.
