EDDY CURRENT DYNAMOMETERS

The eddy current dynamometric brakes manufactured by APICOM S.p.A are used in order to measure the power of any type of engine.

They are equipped with a valid instrumentation, suitable to carry out very accurate measurements. The eddy current brakes, also called “Test Benches”, are equipments which allow the check of the mechanical behaviour of different types of engine, allowing the user to obtain the requested results operating them on the acquired variables.

The a.m. tests are carried out in a testing room, avoiding in this way the problems connected to the tests on road for the engines concerning cars and motorcycles field. There are many different sectors in which the eddy current brakes can be used:
